Touring Croatia - Part 4

Still in Zagreb and I took many more photos of the church but let's not dwell on one area too long (truth: I just cannot remember why certain photos were taken!)

I also don't have the faintest idea what this tower is called or why it was built.  The bottom line here was that this is where I needed to be in order to catch our bus back to the hotel.  I figured if I show the picture to the locals they'd direct me to where I had to be.

While walking the city, it started to rain and as kind as I can be, I gave my rain jacket to another lady, so scarf had to protect the hairdo!

Look at these amazing little streets with the street café's and yes, cars do still use these but politer drivers will be hard to find anywhere else.

This tiled roof at St Mark's sqaure dates back to 1841 (thanks for the notes Karin!)

The blue flag is that of Zagreb while the flag with the red is Croatia's.

A museum I would have loved to go back to visit but we either ran out of time or we knew we wouldn't find it again.  I did get to read some of the stories on the internet though.

A blue tram and notice the clean streets....  so much to learn South Africa.

Look at our interesting room number.  In South Africa we won't even have a thirteenth floor (not due to lack of height of our buildings but the superstition attached to the number 13).
