A lovely table topper but not without posing problems. This topper too was previously quilted by someone else but the quilter was not satisfied and unpicked most of the stitches but not all. This quilt therefore arrived here with batting and backing still attached and I honestly did not have the time (or patience) to unpick the rest, so the whole thing was loaded as a top only with new batting and backing.
The
difficulty in this is that I couldn’t keep the top from not having puckers (due
to the already added batting) therefore had to do dense pebbling to contain or
hide any bubbling.
All is
however well that ends well.
