This quilt has so many attributes I really didn’t know what to complement and what not to mention. The piecing is impeccable and one might think it is rectangular blocks but alas it is squares butted up against each other to mislead the eye into thinking these are rectangular BUT it would not have looked this good if the piecing was off by a smidgeon. This quilter did a darn fine job with this.
Then the
colours…… need I say more? I also think
the SID quilting spaced 1½” apart not only served its purpose but did not take
away from the overall look of the quilt.
