An emotional memory quilt

I’ve quilted a couple of memory quilts, mostly from used clothing fabric, this one, however, was different.

This quilt had pictures of the young man who lost his life in a car accident and working on the quilt, while those beautiful young eyes stared back at me, knowing they are no more, had me emotional a couple of times.  I just could not imagine how the parents must feel.

This was made by his aunt for her sister, as it is the sister’s child.  She used some of his clothing fabric too and I believe it will make an amazing memory for the whole family.
