This grandmother is rather excited about her youngest son’s firstborn arriving in early 2026. She made this and used the most beautiful, floral embroidered blocks to place between the pieced blocks. The embroidery was done by another local quilter and embroiderer, Wilna Geel.
This combination works perfectly for a little girl, and as can be seen on the
quilt, will be named Sofia.
